This moorland course has a length of 6471 yards, a Par of 70 and Standard Scratch of 70. The Queens Course is shorter with a length of 5965 yards, Par 68 and Standard Scratch of 70. Although shorter, it possesses many challenges with water hazards on almost every hole.

With its true links turf, contoured rolling fairways and majestic vistas of the sea this course is destined to be a classic. The sea plays an integral role in the course design and the sandy dunes also feature prominently in enhancing the course landscape.

St. Andrews Links - New Course - This is a fine traditional links which runs adjacent to the Old and many consider it more difficult. However, if accuracy is not your strong point adjacent fairways on the back nine can provide sanctuary for wayward drives, a welcomed feature of several of St Andrews' links. It is a British Amateur Championship venue and over 100 years old - so not so new! Standard Scratch 73.
